Divergent Advisors will cover the room, tax, and resort fee at the W Punta Cana for 3 nights from May 17-20, 2026.

Resort check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Upon check-in, you will need to present a major credit card for any incidentals that you may charge to your room during your stay.

Divergent Advisors is pleased to book travel arrangements for you with our travel resource, Group Travel Partners. Please note the itineraries are all web-based and you will review and/or request changes from the link you will receive via email.

All air travel will be booked through Group Travel Partners in economy class airfare. If you'd like to upgrade your seats, please include that with your response to the itinerary from Group Travel. Any upgrades will be considered a personal expense.

Once you have selected your travel dates (including any pre/post extensions if applicable) and completed the online registration form, Group Travel Partners will contact you via email within 48-72 hours with a flight suggestion. To preserve both your preferred seat assignments, and the fare, it is essential that you approve your itinerary within 24 hours of receiving it. Airlines have an automatic cancellation policy that will release your reservation, so fares and preferred seat assignments may not be available after the fact, and may incur additional costs.

Once confirmed, Group Travel Partners will ticket your trip and email your confirmed itinerary. You have 24 hours to notify Group Travel Partners if you do not receive a copy of the itinerary, and/or if there are any errors on the itinerary. Your help in making sure that these details are correct is greatly appreciated!

There are some situations that may arise where costs would become a personal expense for you. Once your ticket is booked, any changes (and associated penalties), upgrades or extensions that result in a fare difference will be considered a personal expense. Please note that you will need to provide a credit card at the time of booking for any of these fare costs.
​
Seats on direct flights fill rapidly and may not always be available from your home city. Group Travel Partners will make its best effort in coordinating the most direct flight pattern for your. Please note that wherever possible, the lowest negotiated fare will prevail.
​
Individual Preferences
As many travelers have experienced as of late, the airline industry has moved to a menu based pricing approach, which means that preferred seating, extra luggage, and other amenities are individually paid; however, pricing depends on frequent flyer status and other factors, so should be researched in advance. Any additional cost will be at the attendees own expense.

Important Travel Information
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a TSA (Transportation Security Administration) regulation, all air passengers must provide their full legal name (first, middle, and last name as listed on your government issued photo ID), date of birth, and gender. We ask that you please provide this information so the travel agency can include this information with your air itinerary.
If you selected above that you will be booking your own flights for the 2026 Divergent Advisors trip, please keep in mind that the resort check-in is at 4:00 PM.

To ensure that you do not miss any of our planned events, please be sure to check-in at the W Punta Cana by 4:30 PM. Our Welcome Reception will begin at 5:30 PM on May 17th at the Resort's XXXXXX.
Passport Information
Please be assured that the collection of this information is for your trip from the United States to the Dominican Republic.

*For entry into the Dominican Republic, you must present a passport valid at the time of entry and exit. One blank page in the passport is required for entry stamp. Passports should be in good condition and valid for up to 6 months after the scheduled date of return to the home country. If your passport expires prior to that date, it is required to renew your passport (average renewal times are 6-8 weeks. You should visit the U.S. Department of State website for additional information.

It is very important that you enter the correct information and dates below (for names, please be sure to enter as it states on your government issued ID).
If you have opted to book your flights on your own at your own expense, please email them to the Events Team at events@divergentadvisors.com so that we know when we should expect to see you.
To be added to the complimentary group ground transportation, please note below (complimentary group ground transportation is offered for program dates only).
Please note: If you have extended your stay and/or your travel dates vary from the group program dates, you are responsible for your own ground transportation to/from the airport and the resort.
